Inner Worlds Counseling, LLC exists on the stolen land of the Lenni-Lenape people. The Lenni-Lenape people included three different groups that extended throughout what is now known to most people as Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York. The Lenni-Lenape are a matrilineal society who inhabited these areas for thousands of years prior to European colonization. They were forced out of these lands in 1741 and displaced to other areas of the United States. Pennsylvania continues to be the only state to not recognize indigenous peoples. There are ongoing efforts to give state recognition to the Lenni-Lenape as well as efforts for return to this area. See the link below for more information and ways to offer support.

About Me
Hello! I'm Emily (she/they). I'm a neurodivergent therapist who enjoys supporting others in their unique journey in this beautiful biodiverse / neurodiverse landscape we call life.
I've worked in community mental health in various roles for the last 20 years. I continue to do community work in addition to private practice. I'm passionate about moving toward a world where there is accessible and affirming care for all of us.
I can often be found hanging out with my feline co-therapists Drummer and Watney pictured here. I also enjoy reading, sci fi and transpersonal psychology. I have always been intensely curious about the human experience, individual and collective, and thrive on meaningful connection and possibilities.
